The shower control is a bit tricky, with inconsistent water temperature leading to chilly surprises. The lack of breakfast service in the mornings left a hollow feeling, especially after a late night. Not to mention, the absence of a bath mat creates a small waterfall situation every time you adjust the shower curtain, leaving the floor a mini pond. So, if you're one for a solid morning meal, plan ahead.

We stayed for 2 nights and loved the food! Sarah and Christine were awesome, always super helpful. The room was decent, but yeah, no hot water for showers – not ideal. we were charged for breakfast they didn't even serve. Free parking was a plus and it's only a 15-min walk to downtown.

The stay included a great lamb shank for dinner and friendly staff who provided a warm welcome. Unfortunately, several issues marred the experience, the room had a broken door lock, non-functioning electricity, and soap bottles covered in mould. It was difficult to feel safe and sanitary in such conditions.

Basic room, pleasant bathroom, and the bed was comfortable and clean, complemented by free Wi-Fi and parking, all conveniently located just 68 km from Birmingham Airport.
